Daree Allen

Daree is an award-winning freelance writer, authorpreneur and publisher. Her first book, “What’s Wrong With Me?” will be published in 2012 by Kharacter Distinction Books. Part memoir, part self-help, "What’s Wrong With Me?" encourages teen girls to embrace their uniqueness, learn to love themselves and stay close to God.

I've always been a firm believer that you should be able to do what you love and either make a living or find solace there.

V. Kottavei Williams is a self proclaimed art healer, recently signed with Lady Dragonfly Publishing, she is the author of upcoming book "mentalcourse: modern haiku". She is also president of her own business Sagebelly, LLC which offers belly and body casting for expectant mothers and individuals.

Alyse Salam Alyse López-Salm is a student and community activist with a passion for issues related to women’s health and immigrant rights.  Until recently, Alyse worked as a Community Outreach Advocate at Partnership Against Domestic Violence, Georgia’s oldest and largest domestic violence agency.  There, Alyse worked with Spanish and English-speaking survivors in PADV’s programs and assisted with the establishment and implementation of PADV’s Emerging Latino Communities Initiative within PADV in order to make services known and accessible to Georgia’s Latino community.  Most recently, Alyse began a her studies in Behavioral Science and Health Education at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, where she will be focusing on an array of issues affecting women’s safety and reproductive health, including intimate partner violence (IPV).

Chaun Archer Chaun Archer will perform: Spoken Word Poetry

Chaun Archer is a talented author, actress, playwright, and book publisher. She has a passion for writing and books, coupled with an astute respect for the written and spoken word. She has combined her experience and knowledge as a graphic designer and web developer with her love for books and began her company, Lady Dragonfly Publishing. She enjoys helping author's find their voice and realize their dream of writing and finishing their books. She is also co-owner of ArtistScope, a fine arts school located in Douglasville, GA, specializing in Art, Music, and Drama.
